Maypowders is one of the longest established catteries in Devon. Since 1988, our customers have been coming back year on year.

We are situated in a very quiet location between Clyst Hydon and Talaton, 5 miles south of Cullompton, 8 miles west of Honiton and 11 miles north of Exeter. Directions Here

We are genuine cat lovers, with over thirty years experience of caring for cats, so you can be assured that your cat will have the best possible treatment at Maypowders Cattery.

You are welcome to visit us at anytime with a view to boarding your cat, just give us a ring and you can meet Beryl the owner and all the cat customers.

We are always very busy, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

All cats are catered for according to their likes and dislikes and special diets are catered for at no extra cost.

Cats staying with us must have up to date vaccinations and a certificate must be shown.

A form authorising veterinary treatment must be signed, so that, if necessary, your cat can be treated while in our care.

Any costs for veterinary treatment will be charged at cost when collecting your cat.

 

Cats are housed in separate spacious chalets, each with its own run. Heating is provided when necessary. We have family sized chalets available for housing up to four cats.

We supply bedding, scratching posts and toys, but you are welcome to bring your own, as some cats like something with their own smell on it.

All chalets are manufactured and erected on site to meet Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health guidelines.

 

Boarding Fees from February 2023

1 Cat - £14.00 per day

2 Cats sharing - £23.00 per day

3 Cats sharing - £28.00 per day

4 Cats sharing - £32.00 per day

A full day's board is charged for the days of arrival and departure.
